The new 2.5 m Compactasphalt™ machine
| The Compactasphalt 3.0m system is primarily developed for applying the Compactasphalt method on highways and other wide width roads. To provide a more economic solution when applying the compactasphalt methode to roads with a width less than 7.5m, Dynapac is introducing the smaller Compactasphalt 2.5m module. This is designed to be used with a standard Dynapac DF145 CS paver.** The new Compactasphalt™ module is built according to a similar design as the larger 3,0m module. A main difference, however, is the drive mechanism for the module. On the smaller Compactasphalt 2.5m module it is located in front of the paver, thereby providing two main advantages: The maximum working width of this paver of the Compactasphalt 2.5m module is 7.60 m. The binder and wearing course hoppers contain 30 respectively 20 tons of material. Compactasphalt 2.5m module offers the following advantages: - Laying roads with the Compactasphalt methode without driving on the hot binder course prior to laying the - Increased process stability by minimizing the physical distance between the two screeds. Changing the crown profile, working width or cornering do not influence the laying thickness - The module is to be used on a standard Dynapac DF145 CS paver - The load distribution on the base unit and the modules has been designed in such a way that even |
