Dynapac presents new planer PL350TD

Dynapac launches new PL350TD planer on Bauma 2010

Dynapac is launching new PL350TD on Bauma show 2010. Its new front design clearly characterises the PL350TD as member of the Dynapac compact cold planer range.

The three wheeled compact planer - powered by a 60 hp Cummins engine - offers a cutting width of 350 mm (13.8 in) at a cutting depth of 100 mm (3.94 in).

The machine is designed for road maintenance work, joints and patching work as well as cutting around manhole covers, especially in confined areas. To ensure best manoeuvrability, total steering angle is 148° and smallest cutting radius is just 100 mm (3.94 in).
When working inside buildings or in parking garages the new designed front ballast weight can be dismounted very easy to lower operating weight.

Compared to the former planer model PL350T the water tank is 45% larger to ensure longer milling time without stop for water refilling.

The new designed operator panel is well protected against vandalism and – for night work – even backlit. The adjustable steering wheel console allows a better view towards the cutting edge.

As a novelty in this range of planers, Dynapac offers an electronic levelling system with two wire rope sensors for the new PL350TD as option. This ensures a much higher accuracy than manual levelling for special milling jobs like the removal of road markings. Together with a special demarcation mode of the Dynapac Easy Level system, a special demarcation milling drum with a 3 mm (0.12 in) spacing and standard sized bits, the new PL350TD is an ideal machine for this application.

Equipped with a short conveyor the milled material can be loaded into a wheel loader bucket. Fine and micro milling drums or a cutting wheel for milling trenches are available on request.
