Dynapac paves swiss tunnel
Swiss JV contractors Implenia, Walo Bertschinger and Prader Losinger relied on two Dynapac pavers to ensure a seamless pavement in the 6.6 km long San Bernardino road tunnel.
The 7.5m x 4.3m high tunnel was closed overnight for scarifying and, in a continuous operation, the contractors used two Dynapac pavers, including a F161 over three ‘round the clock’ shifts. At the end of each shift the pavers were serviced and refueled.
A logistics achievement by the JV Contractors ensured that work progressed seamlessly to ensure the final ‘perfect’ result.
