New series of pneumatic tyred rollers from Dynapac

Dynapac introduces a new range of pneumatic tyred rollers with enhanced operator efficiency and excellent end result.

The Dynapac CP224, CP224W and CP274 are equipped with a spacious platform with operator-friendly controls plus a rotating and sideways sliding seat and steering assembly. As option, a comfortable cab provides outstanding all-round visibility with the added benefit of either air conditioning or automatic climate control.

The new rollers are powered by the very latest Stage 3A compliant engines which offer reduced emissions as well as low levels of ambient noise thanks to the use of thermostatically controlled cooling fans. The quality of the finished surface is further enhanced by an ultra-smooth start/stop system when changing direction.

The machines incorporate several new features designed to enhance efficiency, serviceability, safety and operator comfort as well as producing perfect compaction results. A dual-circuit braking system, a Dynapac only feature, maintains full braking effect even if one circuit is disabled.

Like all Dynapac machines, these new rollers are built on a modular basis and share many components and sub-systems with other models. This parts commonality results in areas where cost savings can be made such as servicing and spare parts management.

The Dynapac CP224, CP224W and CP274 models have compacting widths ranging fom 1800 to 2300 mm and maximum operating weights from 21 to 27 tonne. They are ideally suited for a wide variety of finishing, sealing and soil compaction applications using the optimum number of passes thanks to a highly accurate control system and optional DCA-A compaction analyzer when absolute accuracy is a must.

With the optional temperature sensor and Dynapac's unique DCA-A analyzer the new machines can achieve the optimum density and surface texture whilst providing full statistics and documentation. This system can also play back the rolling pattern and produce a print out of all relevant information, either onto paper or a PDF file for later analysis. With optional air-on-the run system you can even adjust the tyre pressure during the compaction process.
