Single drum vibratory rollers
Dynapac's range of small and medium-size vibratory rollers are used to compact all types of soil with the exception of rockfill. The rollers are suitable for most types of road construction, airfields, dam construction, harbour projects and industrial constructions. Heavy-size vibratory rollers are used for a very wide range of applications. The thickness and grade of the drum's steel are adapted for compacting rockfill, although vibratory rollers are also known for their excellent performance on other types of fill. A special version with a padfoot drum (PD) is available for compacting cohesive soils.
Double drum vibratory rollers
Dynapac's double drum asphalt roller range features everything from the most compact equipment for repair jobs to large machines for the biggest sites. Vibration dampened platforms, swivel seats for better visibility, logically sorted controls and Roll Over Protective Structures (ROPS) all contribute to the maneuverability, operator ergonomics and safety.
Combi rollers
The combi-versions are equipped with four rubber tyres at the rear instead of a drum. The rubber wheels are driven in pairs by separate propulsion motors, thus minimising the risk of damaging newly laid asphalt compound when making sharp turns. The rubber wheels ensure a denser and smoother surface on the asphalt, a feature that is sometimes required.
Steel drum rollers
The CS142 is a modern, articulated static threedrum roller with the same static linear load and drum diameter on all drums. The roller covers the asphalt mat with its full width. The CS142 is used primarily to compact asphalt when the course has a typical thickness of up to 50 mm, depending on the stiffness of the asphalt compound and the prevailing weather conditions. The machine is suitable for medium-size and large-size applications. It is ideal for use in areas where the ground should not be vibrated, such as in areas close to old buildings and on bridges.
Pneumatic rollers
Dynapac has a complete range of pneumatic tyred rollers. All have standard features offering high performance, simplicity and versatility. The CP142 has an exclusive Modular Ballast System comprising sealed ballast containers to allow exact visual control of wheel loads. The roller is used to compact asphalt for sealing purposes. It is also used to compact base, sub-base and stabilized soil. CP224 and CP274 are used mainly in conjunction with other asphalt rollers for surface sealing. Due to their heavy weight, they are also used for soil compaction.
Tamping compactor
CT300 is a static tamping roller for compaction of silt, silty soils and clay. The machine is working with its high weight and speed creating a certain impact force through the padfoot drums. Thanks to the high speed, the capacity is very high and economical on large clay compaction jobs like dams, airports and large road projects. The CT300 is available for South America, Asia, Australia and Africa. The machine is not CE marked and not available for Europe and North America.
Trench rollers
The Dynapac LP8500 roller is suitable for compacting cohesive and granular soils in connection with backfills, foundation work, parking lots and similar projects. With no overhang, they are also well suited for compaction work close to obstacles.
Duplex rollers
Duplex rollers are suitable for compacting thin layers on granular soils and asphalt. They are mostly used for small jobs, repair work and compaction in confined areas.
Compaction control systems
We offer a number of different compaction control systems that makes every day life easier for the roller operator. We have systems for both soil and asphalt applications. This section will give you detailed information on each system.
