Wheeled Pavers

Svedala Demag wheeled pavers are well known for their reliability over many years of operation with a wide range of applications. In combination with their flexibility these machines are the ideal choice for paving urban roads. In response to the needs of end users and the construction industry a wide range of optional equipment is available which further enhances their versatility.

 
Tracked Pavers
With their unique Delta track drive the upper range of Svedala Demag´s tracked pavers are  impressive and of a standard setting them apart from the others. The combination of balanced design, rigid final drive and long crawler tracks being lubricated and sealed lifetime operation ensures maximum traction with a minimum of maintenance regardless of surface conditions. The crawler length together with the rigid construction of the main frame and precise electronic steering guarantees straight line operation. Further enhancement can be achieved with the optional synchronizing control to monitor the crawler speed and - via microprocessor - initiates any directional corrections.

 
Screeds
Svedala Demag screeds are offered in a range of basic widths between 1,25 m and 3,00 m. The rugged construction of the Svedala Demag screeds ensures a high degree of stability essential for paving widths of up to 13,00 metres with a fixed screed and up to 9,00 m with the telescopic one. A salient feature of the screed design is the guide tube system, which just extends to 50% of its maximum travel when the screed is fully extended (double the standard width). This ensures exceptional stability over the entire width of the screed. A long list of optional equipment covers all special demands for building high quality roads.

 
Optional Paver Equipment
To enlarge their range of applications  and for gaining greater paving accuracy our customers can choose from a long list of special options. Svedal Demag offers different contact or non – contact type levelling systems, a Programmable Logic Control system (PLC) and several other very useful equipment for an easy and more efficient operation like the electrical screed heating which is available on nearly every screed Svedala Demag is offering.
